Noosa North Shore Ferries wishes to inform the public that our service is expected to continue as usual on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025. However, from midday Wednesday, March 5th, and onwards, please be advised that our operational hours may vary due to increased tidal heights and strong winds. These conditions, are expected to cause disruptions, particularly around the high-tide mark, as cyclone Alfred moves closer to the coastline.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide daily updates as conditions evolve.
Important Information:
- Operational hours may vary around high tides.
- Travel of heavy vehicles, buses, and caravans is not recommended at this time and will be subject to the discretion of the skipper on duty.
- Skippers will assess conditions and determine whether it is safe to permit any and all vehicles to cross the Noosa River.
- We urge all passengers to check current conditions prior to arrival at the ferry.
Safety remains our top priority, and we appreciate your understanding during this period of adverse weather.
Thank you for your cooperation.
